GMM Dance

GMM (Feb. 9) Recap

Bonjour!

Just a recap of the events that took place at last week's GMM (Feb. 9)...

-A couple of changes: We have a new VP of finance; congratulations Sarah Slezak! Also, from now on a member from each team will give a brief summary of what they're branch has been up to. This will promote better communication and help us stay connected. In addition, the @er spotlight will now be conducted by the person in the limelight...so be prepared to answer some questions about yourself, and make sure to be present.

-The TN showcase for this week was in Puce, Ecuador through an organization called Ectravel. So if anyone is interested in management, the internship includes finding new clients in different countries around the world, handling reservations and requests from customers, and presenting Ectravel offers in spanish schools and other customers. For more information, email David at david.arcos.plazas@gmail.com

-For those of you who haven't heard yet, AIESEC is putting together a Relay for Life team that will take place April 23-24 from 7pm-7am on the Ade Olson track in UWEC's McPhee fitness center. The entrance fee is $10; so if you care to burn a hella ton of calories and donate money for a great cause (the fight against cancer), make sure to talk to Sarah Slezak or Kim Nguyen at the next GMM.

-ROKS is coming up pretty quick (Feb 26-28), so make sure to sign up at http://rowdieswestroksspring2010.weebly.com/.

-Lastly, anyone who didn't make it to the meeting missed out on some valuable information about tax filing, as well as some goodies distributed by a representative from H&R Block. Lesson be learned: ALWAYS COME TO GMMs! You never know what'll be in store.

Thats all folks,
Au revoir!
